English Garden

The English Garden in Assiniboine Park is a summertime pleasure. With both domestic and imported plants and trees, a small fish pond and some local historical artifacts, it is always worth a visit. It is a place of peace and beauty, some might say the heart of the park. The English Garden connects directly to the Leo Mol garden, making it part of a larger experience.

You may also find birds, rabbits, monarch butterflies and other residents and visitors. Despite being inside the city, the garden attracts plenty of wildlife. A short distance away is the duck pond, and occasionally waterfowl will visit the garden, ducklings and goslings following behind.
